It's getting chillier again

Hey guys, no posts for such a long time, but it is not always easy to find time and also to get someone who actually takes the picture. Now Christmas is near again and the chilly winter evenings come closer.
The last months after my wedding I did not only dip dye my hair as you see above- I also got it dyed by the hairdresser in an auburn, Lana del Reyish colour. The colour itself was quite nice, but it did not match with my skin colour though. But now I'm back to blonde and will keep it (hopefully) longer. What do you think?

Summer Dip Dye

A lot of things happened since I last posted here, but I am still alive. I finally handed in my paper for the finals and my boyfriend and me got married so we are now husband and wife! <3
I swore to myself that after the wedding I would dye my hair in some colour and that's what I did now. It is a subtle pinkish colour and will gradually fade away. Please don't hesitate to tell me how you like my looks.

La chemise blanche

Yeah, I like to name my posts with french titles. Sounds more intellectual^^
Well, "la chemise blanche" simply means "the white blouse".
And this stunning white one I got from PRIMARK in Frankfurt. Actually, I don't buy a lot of clothes there very often as I don't like the quality of some of the clothes. But in my opinion, this blouse is stunning and so I am curious, how long it will remain its prettiness.

A different chapter with accessories at Primark. I think you can get fashionable accessories for a very good price there.
I got the cross earrings at Primark as well and I think they will become my new favourite ones. I know I am a little late with this trend, but before I've only seen them in Urban Outfitters 'round here for a ridiculously high price.

I chose this title because I find the materials and styles in this outfit are not typical to be mixed but here, the apparent "inconsistency in style" is intentional.

Beauty Favs

Today I want to show you the three beauty gadgets that are most important for me:

My beauty all-time favourites are:
Shocking Mascara by Yves Saint Laurent
Touche Eclat Concealer by Yves Saint Laurent
Eyeliner by Adessa

As YSL (is the make up line also called "Saint Laurent" now??) is quite pricey, I ask for it for my Brithday or Christmas. But these products are kind of "magical" for me.
The "Touche Eclat" who is omnipresent in the media, really does an excellent job for me. I actually have very dark circles that are not caused by a lack of sleep but inherited, so I use it for covering them up. In fact, it does not only conceal them but it brightens and lights up the respective area.

The "Shocking" Mascara really is shocking, but in a good way!^^ I dont have very long and full lashes, and most important to me is that the look black and volumized. The length is not that significant for me as I don't see the point in having some very long lashes but without any volume at all. So if you want to have black and full lashes, this might be the right product for you as well.

The "Adessa" Eyeliner is the best one I've ever had, because it works really precisely. You can get it in selected beauty salons.

Suede Boots

I love my ZARA suede overknee boots. And yeah, you guessed right - got them in the SALE.

The Gold Rush Continues

Hello again,
I really have itchy fingers these days because I am so excited in taking pictures and writing this Blog. Soon, this might get a little less often, as I am then starting to write my final examination paper. How do you like this look? I am really proud of my latest Urban Outfitters bargain: The black hotpants with golden spots on it for only 6 Euros. So if you have an Urban Outfitters in your city or somewhere near, I totally recommend to you to go there and take a look!

DIY Flower Crown

I now joined the club of the DIY Lana Del Reyish Flower Crown makers. Do you like mine?

I took an old Headband from TOPSHOP. It already had flowers on it, but only two of them (the slightly darker ones). Then I went to XENOS,  a shop where nearly everything for the home and DIY purposes can be bought with a very low budget.
There, I bought six of the artificial flowers, cut the stem and then fixed them to the headband with a thread.

Welcome to my Fashion and DIY Blog ♥

It might not surprise you a lot, but I am absolutely in love with fashion.
I enjoy touching different garments and the feeling of them while imagining how different pieces of clothing would look like in combination.
I definitely enjoy clothes who are different and edgy and this also is reflected in my style. I find accessories so important as they give you the possibility either to underline your fashion statements or even to transform the whole look to a completely different one.

I am excited to show you my personal understanding of fashion. I don't think fashion is about being "the prettiest one" but to be yourself. Everyone should try to give an individual and maybe even an artistic form to their style of clothing.

For some it may seem a little bit weird that I decided to blog in English altough I am actually from Germany, but I did this for several reasons. First one is that I am studying English and here I can practise a little (so native speakers please be kind ;)) and I also hope to get a higher amount of readers by doing so - maybe at least in the distant future^^

Finally some information about me: I am a student from Bavaria (but actually studying and living in Marburg near Frankfurt with my boyfriend). I am quite old, 28, but my 19 years old brother might be the one who kept me young ;) I have a very close relationship to my whole family.
Apart from fashion I also love music and art, photography, buying and selling clothes and DIY and much more but I dont want to bore you...
